Terms.
Last updated: March 2026. By completing a payment you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms in full.
1. Operator
internetvs1000000.com is operated by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME], registered address [POSTAL ADDRESS], contact [CONTACT EMAIL].
2. Nature of the project
internetvs1000000.com is a collective social and cultural experiment with a single public goal: to aggregate one million voluntary contributions of at least €1 each. It is not a financial product, not a crowdfunding campaign regulated under Regulation (EU) 2020/1503 or equivalent legislation, not a charitable collection, not an investment offer, and not a lottery or game of chance.
3. What a contribution is — and what it is not
A contribution through internetvs1000000.com is a voluntary, unconditional, and irrevocable participation payment. Paying does not, under any circumstances:
- Transfer any ownership interest, equity, share, token, or right of any kind in the project, the website, or the operator.
- Create any debt obligation, profit-sharing right, or expectation of financial return.
- Constitute the purchase of any good, digital content, or service within the meaning of Directive 2011/83/EU or equivalent consumer legislation.
- Entitle the participant to any deliverable, milestone, or future benefit beyond what is described on the site at the time of payment.
The sole acknowledgment a participant receives is the optional public display of their chosen name or alias on the leaderboard, which the operator may remove at its discretion without liability.
4. Non-refundable contributions & billing errors
All contributions are final and non-refundable once payment is confirmed. Because no goods or services are sold, no statutory right of withdrawal under distance-selling regulations applies to this transaction.
The sole exception is a narrow set of technical billing errors:
- Duplicate charge — your payment method was charged more than once for a single participation event due to a system fault.
- Incorrect amount — the amount charged differs from the amount you confirmed on screen due to a fault on our side.
These are corrections of billing errors, not refunds in the consumer-law sense. Change of mind, dissatisfaction with the project's progress, or disagreement with how contributions are used are not grounds for a correction.
To report a billing error, contact [CONTACT EMAIL] within 14 calendar days of the charge with the date, amount, and display name used. We will acknowledge within 5 business days and communicate the outcome within 15 business days.
If you believe your payment method was used without your authorisation, contact your card issuer directly and notify us at the same address.
5. Eligibility
To participate, you must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal majority age in your jurisdiction if higher), have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and be authorised to use the payment method you provide. Participation is void where prohibited by law.
6. Payment processing
Payments are processed securely by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., which operates under PSD2 and applicable card-scheme rules. The operator never stores, transmits, or has access to full card numbers or authentication data. By confirming payment you authorise the stated amount to be charged to your payment method immediately and irrevocably.
7. Public display of names
If you submit a display name or alias, you grant the operator a perpetual, royalty-free licence to display that name publicly on the site. You warrant that the name does not infringe third-party rights and contains no unlawful, offensive, or misleading content. The operator may modify or remove any displayed name without prior notice.
8. Intellectual property
All content, design, code, and branding on internetvs1000000.com is the exclusive property of the operator or its licensors. Nothing in these terms grants you any intellectual-property right whatsoever.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from participation in the project or use of the site. The operator's total liability shall in no event exceed the amount of your contribution.
10. Modifications and availability
The operator may modify these terms, alter or discontinue the project, or take the site offline at any time. Continued participation after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY]. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [CITY / JURISDICTION], without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may hold under the law of your habitual residence.
